Dead.net is having trouble and no one is able to preorder one of these. Hopefully it is not an issue with collectors I've read before that they would not be doing limited runs anymore because of what happened with the Fillmore 69 box. 7200 doesn't seem like enough.

Seems like they were totally unprepared for the onslaught. They are only taking email addy's for notification on when the site will be ready for taking orders. That said, dead.net has always been rough sledding, kind of klugey. I called their 800 number just to be sure no orders have yet been taken.

As to the number - 7200 for 72, yeah we get it. (I too think their estimate on units to be sold is low - this represents only about 1% or less of the deadhead universe.) I think they're just taking the temperature of the marketplace with this announcement and pre-order... don't you feel that thermometer in an uncomfortable place?
